As their website mentions, Fields of Green is made using 100% real USDA organic ingredients to get you the best results.

The ingredients are categorized under different proprietary blends and no exact dosage of each ingredient is mentioned. It could mean that the ingredients used might not be present at the right dosage.

So, who should be taking Field of Greens? It is from anyone and everyone who does not like to eat a lot of veggies and fruits. What does Field of Greens do?

Field of Greens can boost your immunity, nutritional profile of your body, metabolism, and overall health.

The product is only available for purchase at one place, their official website i.e. brickhousenutrition.com.

The Ingredients In Field Of Greens

Fields of greens are made using 100% USDA-certified organic ingredients. They include 12 different organic herbs, vegetable fruits, and prebiotic fibers.

You must watch their ingredients profile since the ingredients used are included in proprietary blends that might hide the insufficient dosage of the ingredients used.

So, the only choice it leaves for us is to evaluate the ingredients and their efficacy without caring about the actual dosage used. Also, it makes users highly dependent on customer reviews rather than self-evaluation.

The ingredients of Fields of Greens are mainly categorized under the following blend

  • Organic Greens Blend
  • Organic Antioxidant Reds Blend
  • Organic Metabolic Blend

In addition to these blends, it also contains Organic Prebiotic Fiber (Inulin) in unknown dosage. Let’s break down these 3 blends and benefits of Inulin, the prebiotic fiber.

Organic Greens Blend:

The Greens blend is a combination of many organic super greens such as Kale, Spinach, Parsley, Wheat Grass, Spirulina, Barley Grass, Chlorella, Green Apple, Green Banana, Sweet Potato, and Broccoli all in powdered form.

Kale is a member of the cabbage family that is packed with useful antioxidants. Also, it is highly nutritious and is an excellent source of Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Kale can help reduce your cholesterol level and support your health.

Parsley is an excellent source of many Vitamins like Vitamin K, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A. Thus it can help blood clot, improve bone health, and reduce the risk of serious health problems.

WheatGrass can promote better cognitive function and help in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease according to research. It can also boost your metabolism and keep you high in energy.

Spirulina is also a superfood that is filled with nutrition and has powerful antioxidant properties. It is also good for your heart and increases strength and endurance in athletes.

Chlorella is a nutrition-dense superfood that can boost your immunity and help your body detox. It can aid your digestion, lower blood pressure, and increase energy levels.

There are a few more ingredients that have similar antioxidant properties in the Organic Greens blend. However, we do not know if the benefits can really be counted given that the dosage used is unknown.

1. Organic Antioxidants Reds Blend

The antioxidant blend contains ingredients mainly known for their antioxidant properties. It included beetroot, raspberry, blueberry, tart cherry, pomegranate, and cranberry.

Beets are rich in Nitric Oxide which can help improve the flow of blood in your body. It can be beneficial if you are an athlete and want to enhance your performance levels.

Blueberries are considered one of the very powerful sources of antioxidants and are highly nutritious. It can prevent your body cells from free radical damage thereby preventing you from aging early.

Raspberries are also incredibly rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. These have cancer-fighting abilities and are often known to combat aging and promote weight loss.

The ingredients used have high-potential antioxidants that can prevent your body from free radical damage. However, it is not known if the dosage used is accurate.

2. Organic Metabolic Blend

The organic metabolic blend contains the ingredients that are known best for enhancing metabolism besides other benefits.

It contains ingredients such as Ginger, Licorice, Turmeric, and Green Tea.

Studies suggest that green tea can boost your metabolism and help you burn 3-4% more calories than you usually do. (1, 2)

Licorice root on the other hand has antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It can improve mucus production in your digestive system and thus can aid in relieving various digestive issues.

Ginger can also boost your metabolism, help burn calories, and promote satiety of fullness. This can be useful for people looking for weight loss benefits from Field of Greens.

3. Organic Prebiotic Fiber

The organic prebiotic fiber used in the Field of Greens is inulin. Inulin acts as a food source for the good bacteria in your digestive system, also known as probiotics.

It is a soluble fiber that can dissolve easily with water to form a thick gelatinous mixture and keep you full for longer. It might be beneficial for people who have diabetes.

To see benefits from Inulin, you must take at least 10 grams a day, which is not possible with Field of Greens since its serving size is only 10 grams with all ingredients combined.

What’s the bottom line of Fields of Greens Ingredients? The ingredients used are good for your health and have properties that can keep you healthy. But the dosage at which they are used is unknown so the result may or may not be seen.

Does It Taste Good?

Greens powders are not well-known for their flavor, but Field of Greens stands out from the competitors in terms of “grassy taste”. It’s lightly sweet and has a remarkably mild taste with hints of fruits like green apple.

For an unflavored greens powder, it’s actually very nice, refreshing, and light, and I looked forward to drinking it every day.

However, it is simple to drink and mixes well with a straw! It is less gritty and better mixed, but it does settle at the bottom if not consumed all at once.

What Are The Side Effects?

Fields of green are designed with 100% USDA Certified ingredients which reduces the likelihood of facing side effects.

Also, the Field of Greens reviews are only available on their official site, and thus no users are discussing the negative side effects of consuming it.

There might be some unexpected side effects you may face from any Greens supplement. Greens supplements may come with common side effects like gas, bloating, diarrhea, and stomach discomfort.

However, it is not severe and often mild. Also, people on medication must consult their health provider before trying out Fields of Greens.

If the side effects are persistent and don’t go on their own, immediately stop having the Greens powder and seek medical attention.

User Review Of Field Of Greens

At the time of publishing, Field of Greens has a Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating of B- but is not BBB accredited.

Generally, while reviewing many supplements I tried to look & read third-party reviews and ratings from sites such as Trustpilot and Amazon, but this green supplement isn’t listed on those third-party sites or has reviews.

On its official product page, Field of Greens has a 4.9-star rating based on more than 5,868 customer reviews. When it comes to flavor, convenience, solubility, and effectiveness, the reviews are overwhelmingly excellent on their website.

Here is what happy and unsatisfied customers have to say about Field of Greens:

Jacob E says – Necessary Ingredients

“It tastes fine and gives nutrients that are needed. Only been taking a couple months. Fits in morning routine just fine”

Jinny J. says – Great!

“I use 1 scoop in my fruit smoothies. Adds sweetness to my drink. I feel pretty good and sleep well. Have not lost any weight, detox or the other results that Jeremy Herrell claims. But I’m going to continue to stay with it a few more months”

Greg H says – Taste

“The taste is overpowering, not particularly bad. I use strawberries, blueberries, bananas and chocolate in my morning smoothie. One tiny little scoop of this overpowers everything else”

Michael P. says – Was Not Happy With Taste

“The product had an artificial sweetener aftertaste. It has Stevia in. I did not give one star because Brick House Nutrition’s customer service was phenomenal and offered me a full refund but I did not like the product”

Conclusion

Field of Greens is an expensive Greens supplement that masks the dosage of its ingredients behind the proprietary blend. Generally, we do not recommend buying a product that is made using proprietary blends.

Also, we find that some of the ingredients are required in higher dosages than the complete scoop like inulin. The effective dose of inulin is between 10-40g.

Field of Greens has a serving size of 10g which means all the ingredients present are in a lesser dosage than 10g and it might not give the desired results.

The reviews we saw on their official website are overwhelmingly positive with almost no user completely unsatisfied with the product. And since it is a supplement industry no product can be perfect, this is another concern with Field of Greens.

So, to sum up, you should choose to invest in something that is more trusted and lets you know about the dosage of each ingredient they are using. Field of Greens is simply a waste of money and time.
