Built Bar Flavors: Rated From Best To Worst

A good thing about BUILT Protein Bars is the variety of flavors they come in. Besides their unique nutritional profile, they have great tasting flavors making it a popular protein bar choice.

In this, we tried to test around 12 flavor packs of Built Bars to learn about their taste, texture, and protein value.

Here’s a review of all Built Bar flavors we tested so far:

1. Mint Brownie

Experts Rating: 8.6/110

This flavor of Built Bar has 130 calories and gets you 17g of protein at a time. This flavor is suitable for anyone who has a liking for mint-flavored chocolates.

Speaking about the texture we were quite impressed since they do not feel any chalky in the mouth and are easily chewable. They can be a good choice for filling your cup with a mint taste.

Overall, for a friend of mine who is into mint chocolates, this flavor felt quite yummy to him.

2. Cookies & Cream

Experts Rating: 5.5 /10

From the name, this flavor sounded delicious. But unfortunately, this thinking didn’t last long as we tasted the cookies & cream flavor of built bars.

Some people felt impressed with this taste too but there weren’t as many. This flavor gives you 17g of protein and 130 calories.

3. Peanut Butter Brownie

Experts Rating: 9.8/10

The peanut butter brownie has a tint of salty crunch with the unique essence of peanuts because they use real peanuts in this protein bar.

This flavor of Built Bar stands out to be best among any other flavors. The texture is described as a salty crunch.

Peanut Butter Brownie can be a perfect snack option for anyone who likes the taste of peanut butter, also due to a little more roast.

4. Raspberry

Experts Rating: 7/10

Not bad! This flavor tastes similar to the raspberry truffle. The thick chocolate coating over feels like the best pair for the raspberry flavor.

It is kinda chewier than others but yeah that’s what a protein bar is supposed to be. It also has 17 g of protein and 130 calories.

5. Coconut

Experts Rating: 9/10

As a coconut lover, this one stands to be damn good to me. It has the perfect taste of coconut blended with the crunchiness of the Built Bars.

If you ever ate Mound Bars, you can relate its taste to this flavor of Built Bar. Just like most other flavors, this one is also chewy and lovable.

6. Salted Caramel

Experts Rating: 6.7/10

This flavor is good too but the users felt it was highly flavored with salted caramel making it more salty and sweet in taste. For those who are used to eating salted caramel, this Built Bar might be a good pick, but we are not sure about others.

7. Caramel Brownie

Experts Rating: 7/10

Similar to salted caramel, the caramel brownie is for someone who wants extra caramel in their protein bar.

It is a decent one than the salted caramel because it isn’t as salty as the other caramel flavor of Built Protein Bar. Thus we rate is slightly higher.

8. Double Chocolate

Experts Rating: 4.1/10

As exciting as it sounds, it didn’t stand out for us. The smell of it was similar to dog food as some users reported.

They do sound like the dark chocolate taste but really not very pleasing to our taste buds. You may try them but we really don’t recommend this to our readers.

9. Banana Bread

Experts Rating: 9.2/10

This is a unique but really good one from BUILT Bars to try. Many of us like bananas as a part of our morning breakfast.

Banana bread really feels like you eating some real bananas. This one is really worth the experience. The texture of this flavor was also a plus.

10. German Chocolate Cake

Experts Rating: 8/10

You can count on this for yourself if you love rich chocolate snack options. The resemblance of its taste with the real German Chocolate cake is truly astounding.

This can really be a good treat for someone who likes chocolates. Actually, far better than Built Bar’s double chocolate flavor.

11. Cherry Barcia

Experts Rating: 7.9/10

This flavor is an improvised version of their Cherry Chocolate Creme flavor. The taste is slightly tart with a texture like chunks of cherries spread over the protein bar.

Cherry Barcia flavor feels like quite the real cherry used and can also be heated up to transform it into a delicious cake.

12. Coconut Almond

Experts Rating: 9.4/10

Last but not least the least of Built Bar’s flavors is the Coconut Almond providing you with a mixed taste of coconuts with almonds.

Their texture is more like Mounds candy and when it melts in your mouth, it’s really a satisfaction to your taste buds.

So, time to rank the flavors from Best to worst. The best of all flavors among Built Bars was their Peanut Butter Brownie, while the least rating was received by their Double Chocolate.

A friend told me about Built Bars. This is the perfect pack to try all the flavors. The protein and macros are awesome. The bars are chewy but taste great. The puffs are like marshmallows covered in chocolate. I love the puffs and will be purchasing more of these. Took a few pictures to show the inside of the bars and puffs

Tastes like the others but is significantly more expensive! Save ur money

Is Built Bar Worth It? Honest Verdict

Time to face the real question, should you actually be buying BUILT Protein Bars? As a protein bar Built Bars are a good one since they provide sufficient protein per bar and are low in calories.

Built Bars have a tremendous range of flavors that taste exceptionally good to us except some (rated below 5). Any flavor that is above 8 on 10 is a thumbs-up for us.

It might happen your taste buds reject some flavors entirely and even some flavors that didn’t feel good to our taste buds match you. With the wide range of Built Bar flavors, we think the taste isn’t really much of a worry.

Flavors like the cookies & cream and double chocolate we think were really not for my taste buds. Built Bars Peanut Butter brownie and the Banana bread are the two that suited best to me.

We think the best course of action if you wanna try Built Bars, is to buy their mixed pack of 18 flavors and then when you learn about your personal favorite, you can buy them in a single flavor pack.
